Trameria is a mountainous region of Haelora inhabited by a confederation of independent tribes who share a common ancestral heritage.

Unlike the hereditary monarchies and centralized governments of neighboring realms, Trameria possesses no single sovereign ruler. Each tribe governs its own affairs under the leadership of its chief.

When matters arise that concern the tribes collectively, their leaders may assemble as the Council of Chiefs to deliberate and determine a common course of action.

Despite their political independence, the Tramerian tribes maintain a shared cultural identity rooted in their ancestry, traditions, and belief in an ancient prophecy foretelling their eventual reunification.

Geography

[edit]

Trameria occupies a rugged mountainous region of Haelora.

Its challenging terrain has contributed to the development of distinct tribal communities, each maintaining its own traditions and territories.

Further information about Trameria's geography and settlements will be added here.

Government and Politics

[edit]

Trameria is best described as a decentralized tribal confederation.

There is no hereditary monarch, permanent central government, or single ruler exercising authority over all Tramerian tribes.

Each tribe maintains its own leadership and governs its internal affairs independently.

Tribal Chiefs

[edit]

Individual tribes are governed by their respective chiefs, who hold authority within their own communities.

The relationship between chiefs and their people, as well as the customs governing leadership and succession, may vary among the tribes.

Council of Chiefs

[edit]

The Council of Chiefs provides a forum in which tribal leaders may gather to discuss matters affecting Trameria as a whole.

The council is particularly important during periods of shared danger, when cooperation among the tribes may be necessary.

Although the council allows the tribes to pursue common objectives, it does not replace their independent leadership.

The Tramerian Tribes

[edit]

The tribes of Trameria trace their origins to a common ancestral people.

Over generations, they developed distinct identities, customs, and traditions while preserving an awareness of their shared heritage.

Individual tribes and their histories will be documented here as they are established.

Culture and Society

[edit]

Tramerian culture places importance on ancestry, tribal identity, and traditions passed through generations.

Although the tribes maintain distinct customs, certain beliefs and symbols are recognized across their communities.

Among the most significant of these shared traditions is the prophecy of the Promised One.

Further information about Tramerian customs, ceremonies, and daily life will be added here.

The Prophecy of the Promised One

[edit]

An ancient prophecy holds an important place in the shared traditions of the Tramerian tribes.

Arising after the division of their ancestral people, the prophecy foretells the coming of a Promised One who will reunite the scattered tribes.

The prophecy also speaks of a connection to a dragon, although the precise nature of that connection remains uncertain.

Interpretations of the prophecy differ, but its promise of reunification continues to represent a powerful bond among the tribes.

Further information about the prophecy and its interpretations will be added here.

The Banner of the Gathering

[edit]
The Banner of the Gathering, bearing the Ancestral Mark.

Unlike the formal national banners of Haelora's centralized realms, Trameria's Banner of the Gathering represents the shared ancestry and collective traditions of its independent tribes.

The banner features a weathered forest-green field decorated with copper and ivory designs.

Its central emblem, known as the Ancestral Mark, depicts an unfinished knotwork circle within which the form of a dragon is subtly concealed.

The incomplete circle symbolizes the division of the ancestral people and the hope that the tribes will someday be reunited.

Beneath the emblem appear three stylized mountain peaks, representing the homeland shared by the tribes.

Braided cords, feathers, and ceremonial ornaments distinguish the banner from the more formal heraldic standards of neighboring realms.

The Banner of the Gathering is associated with assemblies of the tribal chiefs and occasions requiring cooperation among the tribes.

Military

[edit]

Trameria has no single permanent military command governing all its tribes.

During periods of common danger, the tribes may agree to cooperate in defense of their shared interests.

Further information about Tramerian warriors and military traditions will be added here.

History

[edit]

The Tramerian tribes descend from a common ancestral people whose communities became divided over generations.

Although their political paths diverged, their shared ancestry and cultural traditions endured.

The prophecy of the Promised One emerged after this division and remains an important part of Trameria's collective identity.

Further historical information will be added here.
